Each asset type created within the compliance scheme can have one or more tasks associated with it. The visibility of tasks to users can be controlled using a ‘skill’ filter called Master Compliance Scheme (MCS). Each task is assigned an MCS and then users are un/authorised to view this MCS.
Tasks can have different kinds of input
- Text [No RAG compliance - always GREEN]
- Number [RAG compliance config available]
- Option Group [RAG compliance config available]
- Date [No RAG compliance - always GREEN]
- Automatic calculation based on one or more number task inputs [RAG compliance config available]
Some of these tasks can be configured to assign compliance ratings to the input data, i.e. Number, Option Group and Calculation tasks all have configurable parameters defining what inputs are acceptable and which are deemed to be non-compliant.
All tasks can be configured to force the user to enter a note, for all available note types (Red, Amber, Green) and any combination thereof.
Some task types have additional features which can be switched on in configuration:
- Text tasks
- Can be configured to parse all input through a regex filter, for example to ensure if the input matches the basic format of an email address.
- Can be configured to allow a user to scan data into the text input field
- Can be configured to require a string which has a minimum and/or maximum length
- Number tasks
- Can be configured to receive several inputs and calculate the Sum, Highest, Lowest, Average of those inputs, it can also assign an automatic note to the end result to keep a record of what the original inputs were from the end user.
- Can be configured to save numeric inputs from 1-5 decimal places
- Can be configured to accept data from a remote probe, such as a handheld ETI device
Tasks can be scheduled or they can have no schedule whilst remaining available to be completed at any time. There are many different scheduling options available, listed below. Schedules are discussed in more detail in the following section of the manual.
- Hourly
- Daily
- Weekly
- Monthly
- Annually
