ZetaSafe’s Task Logic feature is designed to allow the user to schedule ad hoc tasks triggered by other events happening in the system.
Tasks Logic is enabled at Client Level – please speak to somebody at ZetaSafe/Micad if you want to make use of this feature.
The Task Logic configuration is handled against Tasks in the Compliance Scheme, please follow the steps below to learn how to use this feature:
- Log in to ZetaSafe
- Under Maintenance, click “Compliance Schemes”
- Open up a Compliance Scheme by clicking the + symbol adjacent to the Compliance Scheme name
- Open up an Asset Type by clicking the + symbol adjacent to the Asset Type name
- Select a Task (you must have at least two tasks within the Asset Type to use Task Logic)
- The options menu should show at the top of the screen:
- Click “Task Logic” – this will open up the Task Logic config screen
- A Task can have multiple “Triggers”, to start a new Trigger, click ”New Trigger” and give the trigger a name
- Once named, you can start to configure your trigger using the control options on the left side, the example we are using here is to plan in a Legionella Sample if the Cold Temperature fails once – to do this, drag an “If Block” from the left hand side into your configuration pane:
- This will enable 3 sections within your configuration pane, “If”, “Then”, and “Else” – we use these options to define the logic
- Into the configuration pane, drag “Result Added” under the “If” section:
- Click the settings cog, this will open up the “If Result Added” configuration page – on here, set the settings as per the below screenshot and click “Save Changes”:
- Next, drag the “Add Schedule” option into the configuration pane:
- Click the Settings Cog next to “Add Schedule” and configure in the following way, then click “Save Changes”:
- Your screen should now look like this:
- Click “Save All” at the top of the page. The logic we have setup here will now schedule in a Legionella Sample Task 1 day after the Cold Temperature task fails, with a 10 day future tolerance. You can ask Task Logic to “Send Email” if you want notifications to be broadcast based on triggers.
