Add a New Number Task to an Asset Type (All user types except: Basic/Email/Read/Handheld only)

New tasks are added from the Asset Details screen.  Tasks can be configured during this time or at a later date.  Tasks remain editable by users with the correct permissions.

When a task is added to an asset type that task will become visible in all assets created from this asset type.

Number Task Type

Number tasks can only save in integers and floats, data is always saved as a float

• To enforce a selected number of decimal places on the saved result
• To apply parameters which when applied will attach a compliance rating of Fail (Red), Warning (Amber) or Pass (Green) to each result.
• To take a user-defined number of results for a single task and then perform a simple calculation across them.
• To define the number of decimal places which should be saved/shown. Note floats always have one decimal place so selecting 0 simply hides the value.
• To allow results to be timed and captured from an ETi Bluetooth probe attached to a device running ZetaMobile.
• Notes can be forced for Red/Amber/Green results or any combination thereof
• Task can be configured to take a user-defined number of task results and then perform a basic maths function: SUM, AVERAGE, HIGHEST, LOWEST. The result of this calculation is saved as the result. The individual task results which were included in the calculation can be recorded in the tasks result note if required.
