Aggregated licensing is a feature which is available to channel users and enables admins of that channel to manage and distribute licences between all clients in that channel (and any sub-channels therein)[1]
To make use of the benefits of aggregated licensing in your channel please contact your Account Manager or support@zetasafe.com for further information.
Once the feature is enabled, a pot of licences will be added to the aggregating channel, all other licence access will be revoked for ALL users including ZetaOps.
These licences include:
- Clients – the number of client databases available to distribute between aggregated channels
- Assets – the number of assets available to distribute between aggregated clients and channels
- Users – the number of users available to distribute between aggregated clients and sub channels
- Documents – the amount of document storage available to distribute between aggregated clients and sub channels
- Handheld – this is the number of handheld connections available to distribute between aggregated client and sub channels.
In addition, licences for ANY aggregating channel (such as client, user, document, handheld licences) will be added by the ZetaSafe team, these will not be manageable using the Aggregated Licence Management function, these licences (and those contained in the aggregate pot) can only be increased/amended by the ZetaSafe Account Manager.
Channel admins on aggregated channels can create their own sub-channels, these will take licences from the main pot in the same way as clients.
